To mookalook: you're totally correct there, the code gave you 30 lives. I was remembering 99 because you got 30 lives per code, but you also get 3 continues. 30x3=90 lives to kill those flying shrimp at the end.

I hated those flying shrimp soooo much, I don't eat shrimp in real life. I'm afraid it I touch one, I'll do a backflip and loose my flame thrower.

I've actually talked with a bunch of people on this and they all tell me that it all depends on the upkeep of your dreads. First of all, I commend anyone who undertakes the challenge of getting dreads...granted you are willing to take care of them.

Just like any lifestyle choice, it takes those few bad apples to ruin the apple pie and give you the shitz. Well, I can safely say that 80% of the people I've seen have that "I don't care what I look like" mentality so they dont care if they look like shit. All these people are doing is making me barf as I ride the bus to/from school.

To those people that're gonna get dreads or already have them and are willing to commit to the upkeep, kudos! Extra points if you're willing to acessorize.

I agree with the comment above, it's simply a matter of correct care.
I have been considering dreadlocks for some time now.

Anyone with any hair type can look good with locs. It just a matter of taking care of the style. Oh, and accessories, those are nice.

I'm sorry that you choose to spend so much of your energy in such a juvinile way. The symbols - bracelets, ribbons, etc - bring awareness to a disease or cause. More awareness brings about more action: donations, more research, better medication, hopefully a quicker cure and more attention brings about change. They also show moral support for people who need it. Making people aware make people think about prevention. If a $2 - 5$ braclet, no matter how unattractive, causes someone to alter their lifestyle in a manner that prevents a disease or helps a cause, it's the best money ever spent. And, by the way, If you choose to make fun of me or one of my loved ones in public because of our display of awareness and support, you will be wearing a vinyl ID bracelet - at the nearest hospital. Just another way for me to raise awareness!

You are Absolutely right. I didn't mean to plagirise AbFab, it's just I have that whole series memorized I quote them on a daily basis. You will probably find a whole lot more references on this website. I probably didn't quote them properly, so you will think I'm stealing them again, but oh well, sorry sweety darlin!
